The Master Program in Tourism presents an area of concentration, Development of Tourism, and two lines of research: 1) Tourism: Knowledge and Trends; 2) Tourism: Processes and Innovation. The goal of the program is to provide to the student knowledge to analyse the reality, based on the paradigms of socialization responsibilities and opportunities of tourism development.
Between the specific objectives of the program are 1)to create the critical academic ability in evaluations and creativity in the proposals for training and qualification in the interdisciplinary context of tourism education and 2) create conditions to act in the socioeconomic field to solution problems of quality of supply and the limitations of the local communities hospitality. The Master Program has 12 professors and 10 vacancies for students annually.
