The Graduate Professional Master’s Program in Nursing Technology and Innovation was approved by CAPES at the end of 2012, graded with Concept 4 and began its activities in 2013. Its target audience is RNs who are currently in the labor market.
Its aims are to qualify nurses to develop advanced professional practice with a view to consolidate the Unified Health System (SUS); use evidence-based practice and scientific methods for problem solving; to produce and disseminate innovative and creative knowledge and technologies to meet health care practice, teaching and management needs, especially in nursing; and to promote a better integration between university and health services at the different health care levels.
The graduate professional will be awarded the degree of Master of Science - Graduate Professional Master’s Program in Nursing Technology and Innovation. Graduates will be challenged to contribute with innovative ideas to solve problems of professional practice, generate and apply technologies in the form of products and processes for the best performance of Nursing and Health.
