The primary goal of the program is to train researchers and teachers for high-level university staff and professionals in the area of Mental Health. The basic priority is to develop and produce researches that create new models of clinical care that could meet the needs of the population and the subjectivity modes resulting from the conditions of life today.
For this, the dialogue with other areas of scientific knowledge (Social Sciences, Medicine, Education, Philosophy, Art and others) have been predominant, both because this broaden the understanding of the living conditions of human beings nowadays as by encouraging the development of new arrangements for clinical intervention and outreach to the community: diagnostic, therapeutic interventions with children/ teenagers/ adults in health centers, clinics, hospitals, kindergartens, clinics, agencies that care for individuals with physical and/ or mental, juvenile court , family court forms and attendance at the school clinic.
