The Graduate Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology was established on December 17th 1973. The overall goal is to develop skilled human resources for research and teaching to work in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and other institutions, public or private, research-driven. Another consequence of postgraduate activities is the production of quality knowledge to impact on health care of individuals and population. It is characteristic of Graduate Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology the knowledge production focused on clinical applicability, including translational projects.
