The goals of the program are focused on certifying human resources towards understanding and quantifying the physical principles ruling the functioning of the agricultural systems based on agricultural engineering in order to use this knowledge in various farming features. The student will gain knowledge in areas involving environment, management or technology within the wide range comprised of the agricultural and biosystems engineering. The dissertation or thesis should be developed in one of the program's main areas and contribute to the sustainable development in agricultural systems.
The program offers the degrees of Master and Doctor in Sciences, both full-time, and the maximum time to completion is 30, 42 and 54 months respectively for the Master, Doctor and Straight-through Doctor degree programs.
