The graduation program in production engineering has experienced and distinguished Faculty members who got their doctor and post doctor degrees in Brazil and abroad (England, Germany, Spain, Canada, USA, France). Many of them hold CNPq research scholarships and coordinates national and international research projects (CNPq is a Brazilian federal agency for research and innovation).

The classes offered each semester cover the most important research areas on production engineering. The graduation program includes several research groups: operation research and decision supported systems, administration and economics, operation management, simulation and games, integrated engineering & integration engineering, advanced and sustainable processes.
