The Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering at EESC-USP began in 1975 with Master Degree program and offers a Ph.D. Program since 1997. Its aim is to graduate students with high qualifications and professional specializations to act in the industrial, academic, technical and scientific sectors, as well as to contribute to the development of Electrical Engineering in general. With more than 600 completed Master dissertations and 180 PhD theses, the excelence of the Program is internationally recognized.
The program has a high qualified group of professors and researchers and offers advanced training in important topics in the field of Electrical Engineering. It was conceived for students looking for specialization or for research development in the following subareas: Signal Processing and Instrumentation; Dynamic Systems; Electric Power Systems and Telecommunications.
Although conceived for electrical, electronics and computation engineers, the program also accomodates students with other backgrounds such as engineers, physicists, mathematicians and bachelors in computer science. The program offers excellent infrastructure with 28 research labs, excellent computational resources, high speed internet, wifi coverage, auditorium and technical support.
