The Professional Master's Degree in Primary Care Nursing in Brazilian Healthcare System is a stricto sensu Postgraduate Program aiming the continuing qualification of nurses and other health professionals who work in Primary Health Care. This is an educational alternative offered by the School of Nursing at University of São Paulo (EE-USP), which gives the title of Master of Health Sciences.

This Postgraduate Program is public with no fees. Its objectives are:

• To increase the qualification for professional practice;
• To enhance skills to develop interventions in health care field at the local and regional levels;
• To inspire healthcare professionals to develop research in their area of expertise;
• To conduct scientific investigations in daily work in health
• To enhance professional skills to exert leadership in their workplace and pro-actively participate in the formulation of health policies
