The Graduate Program in Controllership and Accounting (PPGCC) of the Department of Accounting and Actuarial Sciences (EAC) of the Faculty of Economics, Administration and Accounting of FEA-USP offers Masters and Ph.D. courses. It is the most traditional graduate program in Accounting in Brazil. The Master's Program started its activities in 1970 and the Ph. D. Program in 1978. It has the highest grade in Capes' four-year evaluation in its area, rated 6.
Conscious of the prominent role of the USP's Graduation, PPGCC aims to form thinkers and leaders for the public and private sectors, the third sector, and in academy. PPGCC alumini must be able to influence the country's course and improve the quality of life of the population.
In accordance its pioneering spirit, the mission of the Program is to create and disseminate knowledge and consolidate its leadership position in Sciences. The PPGCC must develop world class research, through the work of its teachers, students (mainly through their dissertations and theses), alumni or interactions of these groups with researchers of national or international renown.
