The Graduate degree Program (Master and Doctorate levels) in Veterinary Clinical Sciences (PCVet), School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science, University of São Paulo was established in 1991 and comprises Veterinary Clinical Medicine disciplines, aiming to train researchers and clinicians exclusively with a degree in veterinary medicine, focused on teaching and research in Veterinary Medicine. Professionals are also trained and encouraged to apply and amplify the knowledge obtained in the laboratory and clinical routine, and on translational Veterinary Medicine research, providing leadership to advance One Health.

The Post Graduate Program in Veterinary Clinical Sciences continuously elaborates and develops educational programs on clinical pathology and medicine of domestic animals, allowing the conduction of studies of clinical investigation, including experimental and clinical research of high scientific standards in different specialties, considering the different disease conditions that affect domestic animals, and seeking out for new diagnostic methods, pathophysiological characteristics and treatment approaches to these diseases.

The program includes within Veterinary Clinical Sciences five Research Areas:  Cattle, Goats and Sheep Clinical Science (CMBCO), Canine and Feline Clinical Science (CMCF), Equine Clinical Science (CME), Metabolic  and Nutritional Diseases (CMDNM) and Clinical Pathology.
