The Post-Graduation program “Science in Health Applied to the Locomotor Apparatus” is offered to graduate students interested in studying the locomotor apparatus as a subject for Master and PhD thesis. Two main research topics support our program; basic science, whose researches involve bone quality, development and biomechanical studies of bone implants and materials for the treatment of locomotor apparatus diseases. Researches involving the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of the locomotor apparatus are related to the clinic studies of our program. Therefore, a wide range of professionals is eligible to apply to a Program, such as orthopaedic physicians, neurologists, physiatrists, radiologists, physical therapists and engineers. The purpose is to provide to the students a high quality education to develop teaching and researching activities. Students are requested to take courses that are offered by the University of São Paulo and to develop original researches, which should result in high impact publication or patents. Thus, each student must continually interact with the PI or supervisor, who are well-known researches, in order to meet our required criteria.
