The Graduate Program in Oral Biology aim is to prepare human resources at the MSc and PhD degrees for teaching and carrying out research in this field. To achieve this goal, the future MSc and PhD should develop the creative capacity and critical sense needed to execute all scientific investigation steps (i.e., planning, development and writing) aiming to contribute in a relevant and innovative way to the respective field of knowledge. The Program has 11 tutors/professors working in 3 research areas, (1) Experimental and Clinical Physiopathology, (2) Tissue Repair, Biocompatibility and Toxicity, and (3) Molecular and Morphological Biomarkers in Dentistry, developed in 11 laboratories. The Program offers 40 credits in disciplines for MSc degree and 41 for PhD degree. Professionals from health and biological areas, preferably from Dentistry and similar areas are target audience of the Program.
