Approved by Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) in 1.987, as of August 2014 this Program has been responsible for 117 pots-graduated students, 19 in the Masters Degree and 98 in the Doctorate Degree. Currently, 43 students are enrolled in the Doctorate Program, with research projects linked to the ongoing research directives.The Anesthesiology Post-Graduation Program received a Grade B from CAPES on the assessments for the periods of 92/93 and 94/95 and 96/97, and a Grade 4 for the last three 3-year periods. As informed by the title, the Coordinator Committee for the Anesthesiology Program (CCP) is responsible for the general coordination of the Program. Its scope includes establishing rules for the Program and selection criteria for the enrollment of new students, and also the analysis of proposed research projects and processes for request of financial support. CCP’s members are the Coordinator and his/her substitute, and at least one Professor accredited as Advisor and his/her substitute and one Student and his/her substitute. Entries in the Program shall be conducted solely in this Secretariat, as per the Notice published on the website in the form of continuous flow throughout the year.
